The staff was super friendly upon check-in, and even provided us with a bottle of free water (as you can't drink the tap water there). The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Little bit on the older side but everything is well maintained.

In 2022 me and wife were moving from Alaska down to Texas on military orders this place was like a quick stop to buy something to eat there wasn't much, but the guy big guy owner greet us and treated us good, he started to make conversation with us no issues, we left the place and started to drive to the nearest was station that would be, Race Trac Gas we didn't get gas there we keep on driving, randomly a fog came in but it felt very weird our entire car windows just got damped, It felt like something was out there trying to make me come out I decided to drive with my windows damped with no visibility, from that point forward we felt like we were being follow by something we couldn't see. About 7 random dogs in the middle of the nowhere appear almost like to make us stop we keep on driving full speed to the next city to be honest that night we felt like we were going to get abducted, Me and wife talk about it every now and then, Looking at this map area I see some ranches in the middle of the nowhere just be advise this area could be high on human trafficking. We also learned after that this highway is called, The highway of a thousand tears. A lot of people disappear on this highway you can do your own research be cautious.

I arrived late at night and the kitchen had closed but had the fryer on. I order some fries and it was delicious. Super accommodating staff and didn't rush me along, like other places when they are getting ready to close. I would definitely come back again and eat. Adorable cabin style dining room with tasty home made baked goods for dessert.

Andy and the rest of the fine folks working here were a cheerful and warm counter for this weary, cold, and wet motocamper. Feels more like a family than a business; quite comfortable and laid back. Great food too!

Absolutely that friendliest place I encountered on the entire Alaska Highway. It wasn't a planned stop but it looked like such an interesting place I had to pull in and check it out. Incredible hospitality and just up a nice roadside stop. The next time I drive the highway I'm definitely making this a destination.

We were reminiscing our stay at Sasquatch from 2019 and the fantastic atmosphere this lodge provided. Freshly baked goodies, very homey feel and staff who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable! Despite the fact they run on generators , they pull off all their challenges admirably. An excellent stop for your next road trip. Owners are there to make your stay comfortable and that makes a huge difference in any business. Can't wait to travel again! Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible food. Well worth the 2 hr drive North from Fort St. John to eat here at the restaurant. The burgers have a steak knife vertical in the whole burger to keep it together. It is so tall and wide that you cannot fit it in your mouth. The condiments are loaded into the burgers. The homestyle cut fries are stacked so high on the plate that they are falling off the plate. All the food is infused in flavor. absolutely incredible. I couldn't finish my serving because it was so incredibly large. Now one would think that there is a very high price tag attached to it.... But NO! It is extremely reasonable. For a burger with fries and two pop it is still cheaper than most meals in Fort St. John BC. If I could give it a 10 out of 5 I would cause it's just that great. I am not associated with the hotel or restaurant but am at a nearby camp and wanted a change of menu. I am glad I did. I will definitely be back. If there are other reviewers, food critics and others around I encourage you to come review and get the word out about this place. This security officers definitely approves. A 10 out of 5. Top notch, food, friendly service, just awesome

This obviously a simple place that serves mainly folks working nearby; it's not a place where you go specifically with your family, but rather a convenient spot for the weary traveler to stop at, rest for a night and continue on the next day. The lady at the office as well as the one attending the kitchen area were extremely professional and friendly; the room was clean, shower was hot and the dinner was good and huge. Internet had good speed and there was even cable TV!
